mobile web 2.0: being there for people going somewhere
Adsente is now setting up a new company that will focus on offering destination information and services to visitors and inhabitants of the Province of Limburg. Other parties involved are LOG ON , InterNLnet , LIOF and the Province of Limburg itself, and in a later stage local companies and institutions, tourist offices, colleges and universities. MyLimburg will be set up as an open garden which means that users will be able to add content that they want to share with others and companies and institutions will be able to use MyLimburg to promote themselves or offer their own products and services to the end-users of MyLimburg. MyLimburg will be up and running in the second half of this year. For end-users the service will be free. The focus will be on device-independent mobile web 2.0 services and relevant (contextualised) information for people on the move to be provided cost-effectively by local companies and institutions.
